Ferdinanda (Malá Strana)

Ferdinanda in Malá Strana is the Ferdinand brewery’s second pub in Prague and opened in 2009. The main difference between the restaurant on Opletalova off Vaclavske Namesti Ferdinanda in the center of Prague and this Ferdinanda is that this one is less crowded and that it also looks more like a traditional Czech pub. The menu is the same, which is great if your looking for a good, reasonably priced meal in Malá Strana. Unfortunately, they don’t have the Ferdinand Svetle 12° beer.

On tap, they have their dark and the pale lager 11°, which are both great beers. Their food is just as delicious as in their original restaurant, and still comes in large portions. Monday through Friday, they’ve got a great lunch menu too. Ferdinanda is conveniently located on Karmelitska half-way between Mala Strana Namesti and Hellichova tram stop.
