There are few classic Pilsner pubs in Staré Město that can boast such fresh tasting Pilsner, good service, pleasant atmosphere, and tasty cuisine. U Rudolfina offers all of these, plus a rich history, and a great location. There are two parts to this pub. Immediately when you enter, there’s a small parlor with a tap and a few tables, dedicated mainly to locals just popping in for a quick refreshing beer. Downstairs, you’ll find a spacious, cavernous interior, decorated with old Czech and Pilsner memorabilia. Serving traditional Czech cuisine, portions are large and well priced. Full on any given night, it’s a good idea to call ahead and make reservations if you’re with a large group. Service is friendly, and your beers will be refilled before your last sip.
