Pastička

Pasticka is located just off Vinohradska on Blanicka street, close to Riegrovy Sady in Praha 2. This large Czech pub has a cozy atmosphere, with a mostly wooden interior and wooden booths. They serve tasty food, and perhaps more importantly, light and amber lager from the Bernard brewery, as well as Pilsner, which always has a nice fresh taste.

Monday thru Friday, Pasticka has a nice lunch menu, and during the evenings, you can eat anything from pasta to Czech food- their menu is quite large. Prices here are a bit more than the average Czech pub- but, this food is better than what you’ll find in a normal Czech pub.

In the summers, they have a nice, quiet back yard area with large tables. Pasticka is popular among all sorts of people- students, middle aged, and a few veterans of Czech beer can be spotted among the tables as well. A good choice, if you’re thirsty and hungry in Vinohrady.
