Now, with 3 bike shops offering a variety of services, and Únětické beer on tap, Bajkazyl is helping bring about a revolution in urban biking. Bajkazyl’s Žižkov shop + bar is a welcomed example of do-it-yourself urban culture meets the best of Czech beer. 

Just off the bike path below Vítkov hill in Žižkov, Bajkazyl’s outdoor area is a simple path side cafe of tables and chairs, mismatched and functional, in line with the indoor decor. Inside, not only do they serve Únětické beer, but a variety of colas, coffees, and a small menu of snacks and panini. The crowd is a mix, but largely made of younger folk. Art adorns the walls, and they host small bands.

Bajkazyl is a place defined by their involved in the local community. They’ve carefully chosen the products in their shops, from the locally brewed, perpetually fresh Únětické beer, to the free trade coffee and chocolate. You can buy a bike, hire repair, buy parts, rent a bike or repair your own bike. Conveniently located along 2 great cycle paths, Bajkazyl isn’t just for bikers stopping off for a refreshing cold mug on a hot afternoon, but also a bar with art, concerts, and the idea to be active community space.

One of Prague’s nicest and most scenic parks, Vítkov is not only home to the world’s largest equestrian statue and the National Museum of Czech 20th century history, but Vítkov also has a newly paved, plush green bike path running along its base, connecting Žižkov to the train station.
