All of Sousedský Pivovar Bašta have a special fresh taste that only comes with the best beers. Continuing with that tradition, their Světlý Ležák 12° (pale lager) starts with a light, slightly floral aroma from the hops. On top of this cloudy, orangish yellow lager is a thick, whipped foam. At first, you’ll notice a sweet light taste of hops, and throughout this beer, there is a solid, caramel taste of malt. The body is rich, almost syrupy in texture, and heavy with hops and malt. Ending with a nice kick at the back of your throat, this is an an excellent, well crafted lager.
