This upcoming weekend, June 8-10, Žižkov will host their own ‘Pivo Brani’ or mini-brewery festival. On Friday and Saturday, opening at 14, the festival will be held in Parukářka park, which is close to Olšanské náměstí (review & map).

On Sunday, the festival will be at náměstí Jiřího z Poděbrad, starting bright and early at 8 a.m and ending at 14. According to their website, a total of 28 breweries are participating, including Únětický pivovar and Pivovarský dvůr Zvíkov, two of our favorites. There’ll also be food and music…Now let’s hope for some good weather.
