On this upcoming Wednesday and Thursday, March 7 and 8, Sousedsky Pivovar Basta will be hosting a Zabijačka, which is a traditional Czech pig killing festival. It might sound quite gory, but most participants will just have a chance to feast on Czech delicacies from the most popular farm animal here, piggy, and drink good beer.
There will be all sorts of sausages, goulash, and grilled meats. For pork lovers, this is a great chance to try some homemade and traditional Czech cuisine. We recommend calling in advance, Sousedsky Pivovar U Basta will not doubt be a busy place!
