If you have the problem of deciding between a nice cup of coffee, or a good IPA, then Mikkeller has solved your problem- they’ve created a fantastic coffee IPA. This IPA from the Copenhagen based brewery begins with an aroma of roasted coffee beans and flowery hops. It’s a dark orange, almost red color, and has a heavy, creamy tan head. At 15° and 6.9%, this is a stronger beer, with a heavy body flavored with coffee, roasted nuts and barley, and caramel. Using Tomahawk hops, the bitterness from hops comes out in the end, adding a nice citrus element.
