At 19°, 8.6%, you wanna be on the same team as this guy. Another one of Kocour’s successful and innovative ventures into guest brewing, the recipe for Quarterback was developed by Yuseff Cherney from the Ballast Point Brewery in San Diego. With a solid and heavy body, this double IPA has a dynamic balance of flavor and bitterness. The Quarterback has a thick, almost syrupy texture with a rich taste of fermented fruits, followed by a hint of orange. Beginning with a potent aroma of hops, this honey colored ale ends with an intense bitterness. This is a quite special recipe too- using Pilsner malts, 7 types of hops, and brewer’s yeast, Kocour has made something legendary.
