Zlaty Rozen
!—This pub closed in 2010—!
Zlaty Rozen is a large, classic Czech restaurant serving beer from the Cerna Hora brewery. They have a large menu, full of traditional food, and a slighty Gothic inspired atmosphere, which is quite fitting. This is a good place to go if you’re in the mood for some Gulosh or other typical Czech cuisine, and also want to have a good beer. This is a good place for larger parties as well. They serve a lunch menu Mondays thru Fridays. Zlaty Rozen is located just a short distance from the Dejvicka metro Station in Prague 6.

This is not the same place any more. It was taken over about 2 yrs ago and is now called ‘The Pub’. There were no interesting beers - Urquell Pilsner - on metered, serve-yourself taps on each table; Kozel Cerny 10 and Master Potormavy 13 (sorry - can’t read my own scribble). I would not recommend it - we were disappointed and left pretty quickly. Bar staff nice, though!
