Kino Světozor

Combining the fine arts of beer and cinema, Kino Svetozor is noteworthy place for fans of both. Conveniently located right in the center of Prague by tram stop Vaclavske Namesti, Svetozor serves a great 12° lager from Nova Paka Brewery, which has been named after the historic cinema. Also on tap is Bernard Lezak 10°, and they serve a large variety of sodas, wine, and coffee, as well as simple snacks like nakládaný hermelín.

In their 2 cinemas, they show anything from classic to contemporary art house films, and often hold cinema festivals. Pleasantly, this is a also a non-smoking cafe, and the tickets are cheaper than at any of the larger multiplex cinemas. They show all films in their original language, with either Czech, English, or often both subtitles.
