Balbínova Hospůdka ‘Naproti’

Located right around the corner from I.P Pavlova, ‘Naproti‘ is a good pub to stop in for a unique beer. On tap, they’ve got 3 beers, 2 from Richter brewery in Liben: Balbinuv Povolebni Lezak 14° (a dark beer) and Balbinuv Svetly Lezak 12°, and Staropramen svetly 10°. This is a typical Czech pub, with a menu offering typical Czech dishes at a good price, like rizek (schnitzel), duck, and roasted pork knee. They also have quite a few snacks to go with your beer.

The interior is pleasant and decorated with old radios. Naproti is popular among Czech locals. A good place to try, if you’re in the area and tired of the normal beers like Gambrinus and Pilsen. In the summers, they’ve got a street side terrace. This pub is connected to Balbínova poetická hospůdka, (which is across the street), and U Balbínů, (which is at Jungmannova 22 in the center of Prague), all of which serve different beers.
