On Saturday, February 18, Kocour will be holding their annual ‘Valentynsky Pivni Masakr’ or ‘Valentines Beer Massacre’. What a great way to celebrate true love- a festival dedicated to the strongest of strong beers…and like they say, true love is blind, so, you might as well down a few pints of the strong stuff.

Held at Kocour Brewery in Varnsdorf, they’ll be serving some special beer from their brewery, including ‘Valentyn’ pivo, a fruity Valentines beer, and ‘silna zimni piva’ special winter strong beer.  Admission is 30 czk, and they’ll be a feast of different sorts of meat dishes to try as well. For entertainment, bands will be playing, and they’ll be a raffle as well as some other activities.
