From February 8th to 11th, the city of Tabor will host their 22nd International Beer Festival, in Hotel Placat.

Participating in this festival will be breweries from Czech Republic, Slovakia, Belgium, Russia, Kazakhstan, Slovenia, Netherlands, Germany, and Austria. Participants in this festival include big Czech breweries like Bernard and Staropramen, as well as middle sized breweries such as Zatec, Chotebor, Nova Paka, Perman, Kacov and Rohozec. Our favorite breweries, Kocour, Zvikov, and Matuska will also be there.

According to their website (only in Czech), their will be music, and tickets can be bought at the Information Center in the city of Tabor. Ticket prices are 100 to 120 czk for Wednesday and Thursday, and for Friday and Saturday, 130 to 150 czk.

Tabor is easily reachable from Prague by bus (about 90 minutes) and train (about 2 hours). Check jizdnirady.idnes.cz for information.
