Hosted every year at Purkmistr brewery on the outskirts of Plzeň, ‘Slunce Ve Skle’ is one of the Czech Republic’s premier micro-brewery festivals. The lineup is always good, and this year we’re really looking forward to trying beers from these breweries: Lucky Bastard, Clock, Zhůřák, Falkon, and Třebonice is a favorite. This is a great chance to try some new brews and there’s always a few surprises. Foreign breweries participating include De Molen and Flying Dog. Take bus #13, get off at ‘General Lišky’, and Purkmistr is just a short walk down the hill.
