Having a strong aroma and taste of apricots, this beer is a nice change from the normal taste of Czech beer. The apricot taste and smell are not overpowering, but extremely fresh and combine well with the taste of hops. This is a sweet beer with a slightly bitter finish. Opat Merunkovy is brewed at Pivovar Broumov in the very north of Bohemia.
