This is another one of Kocour’s excellent American style beers. A real treat if you want something different than a traditional pilsner. The AM Lager has a strong, heavy body with a distinct taste of fermented fruit, hops, and a touch of malt. It’s a flatter beer, with a thicker texture and it’s also quite cloudy. It has a sharp yeasty bite when you swallow that stays with you. From the aroma and first taste, you’ll immediately notice this beer is strong. An excellent choice, for those who want to try something new, or those who are little homesick for pale ales.
