Comenius, which is 14° and has a alcohol content of 6.0% is an excellent lager from the Janáček Brewery located in Uhersky Brod. It has a rich amber color, and has a well balanced body with a taste of caramel, nuts, and honey. It’s smooth, slightly sweet, and crisp, and only when you swallow, do you taste the bitterness of hops. A great, easy to drink beer, even though it’s surprisingly strong.
