This is an unique, 14° dark beer, and one of our favorite dark lagers. The body is light, smooth, with a buttery texture, and a deliciously bittersweet, flavorful body. Povolebni’s most distinguishing feature is its strong taste of herbs, specifically anise, with chocolate and coffee overtones, while at the same time remaining slightly bitter. It’s got a thick creamy foam and strong herbal aroma. Made with Czech and Bavarian malts, Zatec hops, and brewer’s yeast, this lager is brewed at the Richter brewery in Prague 8, Liben.
